CamView — Privacy Policy

CamView does not collect, store, share, or transmit any personal data. CamView is a viewer for the CCTV/DVR/NVR cameras you already own. It runs entirely on your Apple TV.

What we don't do

• No account or sign-up — you never give us any information.
• No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs.
• No cloud servers — CamView has no backend of its own.

Your cameras and credentials

• Video connects directly from your Apple TV to your cameras/DVR on your local network (or a network address you provide). That video is never sent to us or any third party.
• Your camera/DVR settings are stored only on your device. The camera password is stored in the device's secure Apple Keychain.

Demo mode

The optional "Demo mode" plays publicly available sample video streams over the internet so you can try the app without a camera. No personal data is collected when using demo mode.

Children's privacy

CamView is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
